In mid-May, Marcone Southeast managers Tara Weber and John Daley hosted eight lucky customers at the acclaimed NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race in Charlotte, NC. The exciting day kicked off early with a trip to the NASCAR Hall of Fame, where this group of racing fans got to see cars dating all the way back to the 1940s. The interactive portion of the museum included the NASCAR Driving Experience, where everyone took a turn qualifying and racing (via video screen) in a real NASCAR car. Pretty cool!

The group then headed out to the racetrack to tailgate and watch drivers qualify. Once the main event began, everyone was treated to a race between some of the best-known drivers in the country: Jeff Gordon, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Danica Patrick, and the Busch brothers were all in attendance. And Denny Hamlin of Tampa, FL won the race and the $1 million dollar prize.

All in all, the day was packed with fun and exhilarating spectacles. Each customer called to personally thank Tara and John for the Marcone hospitality and taking them out to enjoy one of their favorite pastimes. Vroom-vroom!
